Any data submitted through the App is transmitted directly to the company for processing.
Eastern Drayage operates a driver-initiated SMS program used for container status updates and operational messaging. Drivers receive instructions via posted signage at facilities or direct dispatch communication to text a designated phone number.
The signage or dispatch instruction states that by texting the number, the driver agrees to receive transactional SMS messages related to container moves, including status prompts, confirmations, and POD requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
Messages are strictly operational and sent only in response to the driver's inbound messages during an active session. No marketing messages are sent.
Eastern Drayage also operates a web-based facility check-in SMS program. Drivers provide consent by entering their mobile phone number into a check-in form and submitting the form after viewing the following disclosure:
“By providing your mobile number and submitting this form, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Eastern Drayage related to your facility visit, including queue position updates, scheduling notifications, and driving instructions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.”
Consent is obtained prior to any SMS messages being sent. Messages are limited to operational updates during the driver’s active visit. No marketing messages are sent.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect submitted data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
Submitted data is used solely for business operations related to Eastern Drayage.
No data is shared with third parties, except as required by law or for operational security purposes.
We retain phone numbers, messages, and submitted images only as long as needed for operational, legal, or accounting purposes, and then delete or archive them securely.
Since users do not own the submitted data, there is no option for modifying or deleting it through the App.
Any concerns about submitted data should be addressed directly with Eastern Drayage.
This App is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children to use it.
We aim to comply with applicable data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where relevant.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
